Brilliant Graphics Group Sells Four Foot Pink Flamingos to Support Girls Inc
Pittsfield, MA – From now until the end of October, Brilliant Graphics Group will be selling their custom created, oversized pink flamingos to raise money for Girls Inc of Pittsfield.
“A few months ago we had the idea of scanning an ordinary lawn flamingo and printing it 10X larger. The big bird looked fantastic, so we decided to use it as a display piece. As customers visited our office, they commented about the flamingo and asked to purchase one. We then decided to produce the birds and sell them to benefit a local charity,” said Rob Kestyn Marketing Manager for Brilliant Graphics.
Sampco (Brilliant Graphics parent company) has been active in the community supporting various causes over the years. As a company we decided to sell the gigantic birds and use the proceeds to support Girls Inc of the Berkshires. Plus, we thought 3rd Thursday would be a fantastic venue for us to promote the program.
“Selling a four foot pink flamingo is the most creative way anyone has ever raised money for us before,” said Christa Collier , Executive Director of Girls Inc. “Sampco has been generous to us over the years and we appreciate the ingenious effort.”
Anyone interested in purchasing a flamingo can visit the Brilliant Graphics booth at the upcoming 3rd Thursday - June 17th. Flamingos can also be purchased by contacting Rob Kestyn at rkestyn@sampco.com. The cost of the Flamingos is $20 each.
