Camp Stevenson-Witawentin
A summer day camp for girls completing Kindergarten to age 15.
Camp Stevenson-Witawentin is a summer day camp for girls on beautiful Onota Lake in Pittsfield offering traditional camp programs along with prevention education. The camp provides a comprehensive, safe, and supervised program for campers for eight weeks during the summer months. The camp is a comfortable and nurturing place to grow and learn. Each camper is encouraged and motivated to learn from the natural environment.
Camp Stevenson-Witawentin is located at 600 Churchill Street in Pittsfield on Onota Lake. The camp is a Girls Inc. program of the Gladys Allen Brigham Community Center.

Registration
Registrations are accepted throughout the summer as long as there is space available. Registration forms must be turned in by 10am on Thursday of the week before you want your camper to start. The Inquiry form below does not guarantee a space but allows the Camp Director to reach out to you directly with availability.

Camp hours are 8am–4pm. The bus leaves the Brigham Center at 7:30am and returns at approximately 4:30pm.

Counselors in Training: $155 per week

Financial assistance is available for Brigham Center summer programs on a limited basis for income eligible families. Please contact the main office for more information.

Campers
Traditional day camp components of drama, art, nature, sports, boating, swimming, team and social skill building. Tuesdays are “Camp Spirit” days and special events are held every Friday. Girls should bring appropriate clothing for the sometimes unpredictable New England weather.
Counselors in Training
The Counselor in Training (CIT) Program is a unique opportunity for young women ages 13–15 to receive on-the-job training by assisting experienced counselors and program instructors in all areas of the camp program. CITs will develop leadership, communication, and socialization skills through active participation in a series of traditional camp components. Space is limited to 5 CITs per week session. Each potential CIT must go through an interview process before being accepted.

For more than 90 years, Camp Stevenson Witawentin has provided girls with days filled with nature and opportunities to learn. Girls spend their time in nature, learning traditional camp skills — swimming, boating, arts and crafts — and developing important skills for today’s world — science, literacy, and how to make healthy life choices.
