Swim Lessons & Classes

Contact us for information regarding pool times, group and private lessons, or open swim times for your family, agency, school, day care center or organization. All swim students 17 years and younger are required to be registered members of the Brigham Center, the cost for registration for non childcare participants is $25 yearly. If your child is currently enrolled in our ECE or ABC programs, there is no registration fee.

Youth Aquatics

Youth Swim Lessons

  • Tiny Tots (young child and parent swim) — infants age 6 months through 3 years

    Group lessons for ages 3, 4 & 5, and levels 1 - 4 — 1 lesson per week

  • Youth swim lessons — private and semi-private

  • Penguins Youth Swim Club/Team

  • Therapeutic swim lessons

Fall/Winter 2026 Group Swim Lessons

Registration opens for our last group swim set of lessons for the school year on September 8th at 9:30am. You will need to speak with Barbara, Carly or Abby to register. Please call the main number and extension 14, 10 or 12. We will not able to take sign-ups this fall over email.

Children are enrolled by a first come basis and classes fill up quickly. Especially the 3,4,5 year old lessons. If you’d like your child registered for this session, please do not wait until Friday on the week of registration.

Payment is also due at time of registration.

September 15th Tuesday Session 1: 4:30pm - 5:15pm (7 sessions)

September 15th Tuesday Session 2: 5:15pm - 6:00pm (7 sessions)

September 17th Thursday Session: 5:00pm - 5:45pm (7 sessions)

September 19th Saturday Session: 10:15am - 11am (7 sessions)

Cost: $64 for Tuesday or Thursday or Saturday

2026/2027 Swim Club

Next Session starts 09/14/26

Monday Session 5pm - 6pm

Must be a level 4 swimmer and aged 7 years or older.

Team Only: Must be able to swim a lap of the pool without stopping (down and back, or 50m)

Club Only: Must be able to swim a length of the pool without stopping (down or back, or 25m)

Do not need to know every stroke but should be comfortable swimming the front crawl/freestyle

Private & Semi-Private Lessons

For a more curated swim lesson experience we offer Private and Semi-Private Lessons for youth, teens and adults.

As of 09/01/2026 our private and semi private lessons will have a price increase!

Private Lessons:

One-one-One lesson, lead by a certified instructor allows students to learn at their own pace and have lessons curated to meet the needs and skills of the swimmer. Great for beginner swimmers and those looking to work on stroke improvement or off-season training for competition level swimmers.

Cost:

30 minutes - $20

60 minutes - $40

10-Pack - $180

Semi-Private Lessons:

2 - 4 students, usually a family or group of friends who are at or near similar levels and looking to gain new or improve skills in the water. Great for classmates, siblings and families!

Cost:

30 minutes - $15/per Student

60 minutes - $30/per Student

10-Pack - $135

You must speak with the Aquatics Director before registering for private or semi-private lessons at the front office.

Adult Aquatics

The Brigham Center offers lap swim, water aerobics classes, and private, semi-private, group, and swim lessons for adults with unique and special needs (additional cost for lessons).

Please check the current Pool Schedule for holiday and maintenance closure dates.

At the Girls Club, I was afraid of swimming in the deep end but was encouraged to overcome my fears and take the plunge. I went on to be on a high school varsity swim team. I encourage all girls to plunge into the deep end and make a splash!
