Early Childhood Education
Infants to Pre-Kindergarten
About the Program
The Early Childhood Education program can accommodate 54 children in five classrooms, ranging from infants through pre-kindergarten. Assessment and curriculum are performed through Teaching Strategies Gold in conjunction with Pittsfield Public Schools. This helps us to evaluate whether or not children are developmentally on track and to help those who may be behind catch up. If children do fall behind, we have a working relationship with Pediatric Development Center (PDC) and the Pittsfield Public Schools so that the children can receive services that they may need. We also have a health care consultant through Berkshire pediatrics that we can consult with if any health issues arise in the daycare setting.
